It’s Possible.

It’s Possible

With each thought of impossibility lies a possibility, a possibility to shift and change the perception of that thought.

In times of confusion, fear, doubt, or worry know what possibilities can be crafted.

Possibilities we can create include:

  • Awareness and reflection
  • Observation and understanding
  • Perception of control
  • Growth in perspective
  • Possibilities for change

As we navigate the possibilities in our lives we open channels to perceive, observe and reflect on what is happening. With understanding where we fit in our experiences, we create opportunities for awareness, growth and change.

Let’s create possibilities in our lives.

A Letter of Power: I Choose Myself

Dear Nina,

You are valued and worthy.

There is no need to continue to adapt and adjust to other people’s needs while not receiving any love and support back.
There is no need to beg others to treat you with respect and continuously try to understand them while they are intentionally misunderstanding you.
There is no need to blame yourself every time something goes wrong.
There is no need to wait on someone else to see how much of a good person you are.
You do not need to wait for someone to make space for you when you continuously make space for them.
You do not need to be validated or to prove your worth.
When someone shows you over and over that they don’t care, believe them.
You value transparency, honesty, and support. Don’t accept anything less than what you deserve.
Keep your circle small with people who love you and care for you as much as you love and care for them.
Don’t give anyone excuses for their behavior not meeting the bare minimum standards.
Your worth is not dependent on how they treat you or their ability to change. They will not change. Choose you. You deserve to choose you every time.

With Love and Power,
SparklyWarTanks

Defying Shadows: The Dangers of Being Fully Isolated and Preventing Negative Mental Health Side Effects

Because isolation can negatively impact our mental health, influence spirals of negative thoughts, negative self-talk, and symptoms of depression, anxiety, and loneliness; understanding power, control, productivity, and expectations can redefine and reshape how we approach each day. How can we recreate, readjust, and adapt to this new form of living? How can we prioritize our mental health?
Note: Self-care is personal and can change based on our day to day needs. Whatever we find is the best/most helpful way to cope can only be defined by us.

A Confession: Today I’m Taking Control

What I’m Letting Go of Right Now:

  1. Feeling like I’m not worthy of love/like no one will love me.
  2. Believing everyone will eventually abandon me.
  3. Expecting rejection.
  4. Fear of mistakes.
  5. Wanting to be perfect.
  6. Embarrassed by being myself and getting excited over things that interest me.

What I’m Welcoming in From Now On:

    1. I’m worthy and welcoming of love.
    2. I’m free to be myself unapologetically.
    3. Accepting that people will flow in and out of my life.
    4. Loving myself unconditionally.
    5. Embracing my flaws and welcoming improvement when necessary.
    6. Being gentle with myself and giving myself time to heal from ideas that have been ingrained in how I think.

With even the slightest belief that I am worthy of healing, I believe that I can overcome the deepest thoughts that I’ve learned to live with. I will become new in this discovery.

I am ready for this breakthrough.

Bulletin: Moving Toward Learning

Learn with self-compassion in mind. As you move toward progressing into who you want to become, know who you are. Understand yourself enough to plan and execute decisions that are fit for you, your schedule, and what you can endure. It’s necessary to have boundaries and strategic goals as you enter new spaces.

Be your own leader as you negotiate, navigate, and critically think about the opportunities that come your way.

You are worthy of greatness and success, but remember to think everything through. Failure is a state of mind, move on from opportunities that did not fit your journey. Keep trying.

You are in control of yourself. Remember to include yourself in every decision. Move at a steady pace, there is no rush.

Let’s make our next decisions moments we are proud of.

May: Self-Care and Self-Appreciation
June: Talent and Creativity
July: Love
August: Moving Forward, Progression and Transformation
September: Empathy
October: Compassion and Kindness

Building perspective is what builds character and what allows you to move to the realm of transformation. To understand others is to understand yourself in a community and as an individual. To understand control, perseverance, confidence, purpose, self-acceptance, self-care, self-appreciation, talent, creativity, love, moving forward, progression, empathy, compassion, kindness, strength, power, and what it means to continue, end and begin in order to transform into yourself. While you look into yourself, how you experience life, and what it means to build your identity in your individuality is to explore yourself in concepts and ideas. Who am I? What do I like? How do I love? How do I become better? How do I work on my mental health? How do I grow?

Explore.

Interact.

React.

Grow.

Build.

Break.

Reveal.

Communicate.

Love.

Empathize.

Care.

Continue in your life, in your journey, and in your purpose. Being alive is a purpose in itself. Be yourself. Build yourself. Love yourself.

Bulletin Board February 2017: Perseverance and Confidence

Perseverance and Confidenceimg_20170205_002423_945.jpg img_20170212_235841_084.jpg img_20170219_110032_320.jpg img_20170227_231515_192.jpg

February has been a month of inner confidence and perseverance despite self-discouragement, but also a month of continued change and progress.  Perseverance is the one thing that will show your strength in troubled situations and continuous turmoil.  The more you push through and work even when you’re tired and dreary, the more you convince yourself that what you’re doing is worth it, then you will always persevere through it.  Your power is limitless once you continue overcoming everything that’s placed in your way. Normality might get in your way, negativity might get in your way, self-doubt, self-hate, lack of finances, lack of motivation all might get in your way, but overcoming those obstacles will build someone not phased by downfalls, but someone who stands and faces any challenge.
