SWT 100 Notes Note 30: Bravery Challenge

Task yourself with bravery today. Do something different, something that moves you from your comfort place into a place of change. Show yourself that change is possible and you’re worthy of peace from the change.

Move some things around. Organize. Plan. Take one risk. Know yourself enough to know what you can do and what you can’t. Become more of who you see yourself as.

Cut the procrastination. Do what you have to do, now.

Be brave with me.

Bulletin Challenge: What Do You See When You Look at Yourself?

When I look at myself, this is what I see. I see someone who is able, but troubled, someone who loves, who cares, a fighter, a creator, a writer, an empath. When I see myself, I see someone who is many things. I see someone who has the power to be someone. I see change. I see struggle. I see growth.

Look at yourself. What do you see?

Make sure to look at all parts of you. All the parts that make you someone.

Sometimes we look at ourselves and we don’t know what we see. We don’t know who we are.

Look at yourself and tell me what you see.

You are a beautiful multifaceted masterpiece. It’s not enough to look at our pain and let it define all of who we are. We have to break ourselves apart to get to every piece of jewel.

We have so much in us that we toss to the side. We must dig deep to find our drive and our will to continuously know who we are.

Let’s find our light together.

Heal with me.

Comment below what you see when you look at yourself. Focus on everything (not just the good or the bad, but remember to be gentle with yourself). And as we begin to see, we begin to reflect and to grow in our self-acceptance.

Beauty Week Challenge

I challenge you to think about who you are this week. Think about what you like to do, who you like to be around, and what you find interesting. Think about your favorite color and animal. Think about what you love about yourself and write it down or type it somewhere. Write what makes you different and unique. Write down what you hate and what you look forward to. Write about your break ups and what you learned. Write about significant events and how they shaped who you are. I challenge you to write through your beauty. Find and own your beauty.

Share and comment below some things you’ve written or thought about! Beauty week is about understanding who you are and want to be.

The 9 Step “I got this” Challenge

Quote Repeat
“I can do this.” Taken from Google images.

Step 1: Wake up a couple minutes earlier then usual

Step 2: Do Not think of anything negative that pertains to the day that is to follow

Step 3: Stretch and take several deep breaths

Step 4: Get out of bed

Step 5: Do what you normally do in the morning (i.e brush your teeth, take a shower, get ready for work/school/the day)

Step 6: Say three times “I Got This!” (actually mean it)

Step 7: Eat breakfast!

Step 8: Think of the first two task you have to complete

Step 9: Leave your home or start your work or morning tasks wherever  or whatever that may be

Although this challenge may seem simplistic and purposeless, the goal of the challenge is to set a positive tone for the day.  While you are breathing, stretching and waking up in the morning, you are setting the scene for how the day will play out.  If you declare that you will have a positive day, then the day will turn out great.  Just by doing your regular morning routines with a positive mindset you are able to  push through any obstacles that may be waiting for you throughout the day.  By saying “you got this,” everything will be seen in a brighter light.  Doing these simple tasks  are just a step toward a more productive you.  Do this every day and you will begin to see that you want to wake up in the morning.

Even though you may be tired and you don’t want to continue on, just telling yourself that you can get up and get the day started helps! Start off your day thinking about only the immediate things, like the things you have to do in the next few hours, don’t think about the whole day.  Chop up your day and think about only the moment you are in.

You can do it! You got this!!

Mirror Challenge!

I challenge you this week to look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are worthy and beautiful everyday for the rest of the year.  Take a deep breath and proclaim that you are what you see in the mirror.   Putting your feelings to the side as well as your self-doubt, low self-esteem and anything that will hider you from seeing yourself for the beauty that is in front of you say and believe that beauty is standing in front of you.

Challenge: What did I just say? Yes! No One Does it like Me!

The phrase Challenge accepted with the internet troll
Challenge Accepted meme

I challenge you to say five positive things about yourself this week.

The more positive things you say to yourself, the more you believe and accept that what you say is true.  Walk with pride in your own walk and purpose.

Suggestion??!!! Why are you awesome?

Think about:

  • What you find yourself doing well all the time?
  • What do you like to do?  [Most likely that what makes you awesome!]
  • What is a feature, physically, that you think makes you beautiful, pretty, or unique?
  • Did you achieve something this week?  What did you do?!
  • Fun Facts????
  • What are some of your talents?  You doing your talent is distinctly unique because no one does it like you!
