8-Day Reflection Card Series Day 3

What is something you are working on in terms of feeling fulfilled?

One of the greatest feelings is knowing you are continuously working toward something. Whether professionally or personally, feeling and doing your best is important.

Now that we’ve reflected on struggles vs. things we’re good at that can help us cope, what do we want to work on? What are our next steps to getting to a place where we want to be mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, etc.?

Reflection

Working on finding worth and value in myself is my main goal for this year. Whether it’s being proud of myself or not taking it personally when things don’t work out the way I planned, I will still know that I have value and worth.

The more I see myself as worthy of success and peace, the easier it will be to realize my intrinsic value.

Affirmation: I am filled with value and worth. I accept and love myself.

SWT 100 Notes Note 29: Exhaustion

You ever been so tired your bones hurt?

You ever been so tired your eyes were heavy and your head nodded to the side?

You ever felt so tired that you could feel real tears forming in your eyes because all you wanted was to be able to sleep?

My worst fear in life is to feel this type of exhaustion again. To feel so much in a daze about reality that I wanted a break from being awake. I’ve become this exhausted more than one time, and I’m so afraid of feeling like this again. I’m afraid of the headaches, the irritation, the hunger, the dissociation, the lack of energy, and the anxiety that comes with it.

While my sleeping patterns will probably never get to where they need to be, I can always count on being able to sleep through the mornings while I gather myself to live through the next day.

College and food service jobs exhausted me so much I just want to be in bed. I want to recover and be able to sleep as much as I need to. I guess that’s why I’m afraid of getting another job.

I don’t want to feel this type of exhaustion again.

You are your Life Purpose

Inspiration for this post is coming from the tiring always love notes of making money and finding your one true purpose in life.  I decided to crush that motif and tell anyone and everyone who reads this that your purpose is yourself and drive, motivation, and contentment is greater than money and will always be your wealth.

I always hear the shaming of pursuing art related careers and the stress and strains of science base, business base, or any other career you get into, even those that have everyday retail jobs or jobs that seem to get them food on the table.  No matter how hard you try, how desperate the need for money, its better to do what makes your skin form goosebumps or cheekbones hurt smiling from the feeling of pride once everyday is done.

The motivation you will get from tireless hours on that painting, song, article, working in a lab, helping someone with that paper, teaching those less fortunate will be effortless and flawless.  Always do what makes you want to wake up in the morning and strive to reach the point where you’ve gotten the most out of that time and space.  There’s no better feeling then finding that you crave the sweat that will get you to your next goal. Your ultimate purpose is to see yourself in your element of contentment.

How refreshed you will feel, how much work you will do, how many hours you will put in will be a reflection of the longing for finding yourself in whatever you like doing.

Remember always to work on yourself because you are your purpose and will always be your purpose.  Working, meeting people, having experiences is all pieces in order for you to figure out how powerful you can be and the amount of potential you have by just being yourself.

Always remember to love, work, care, and push yourself continuously and in that you will already be pursuing your life’s purpose.  Don’t let anyone tell you what you like to do is worthless. Keep going.  You got this.
