Pencil Case Prompts!

One of the many exiting additions for my group, The Pencil Case, on The Mighty, is Pencil Case Prompts.
The goal of these prompts will be to to think, reflect, contemplate and share.

I will be sharing these prompts here on SparklyWarTanks with a link to the post on The Mighty!

Note: Pencil Case prompts are journaling prompts you can use for personal journaling or to answer in the comments for The Pencil Case Prompts posts. The prompt will always have two follow up question: What and Why to help us turn our thinking caps on!


Prompt 1

One thing that helps me to keep going is to remember random moments where I felt good. Some of those moments are moments where I accomplished/achieveved something and felt proud of myself or recalling my talents and things only I can do the way I do it.

Reflection

I know I mention this ALL THE TIME but I’m so proud of myself for 1. starting my brand and 2. expanding my brand to Motivation by SparklyWarTanks.
There was a point in my life where I didn’t think I would be anything or do anything worth mentioning. Being able to continuously work on something helps me in my darkest loneliest moments to remind myself that I CAN do what I SAY I can do.

8-Day Reflection Card Series Day 5

What do you see yourself becoming? What is your overall vision? What does a constant state of healing or thriving look like for you?

To have goals means to see an outcome or idea come to life. Ideally, if you can craft what success would look like for you, how would you describe it? Create the image of what you want to accomplish then start becoming more and more of what that success is for you.


Reflection:

When I think of success, I think of who I want to be, and what I want to become. Being able to network, open up, and communicate with others is an important aspect of my vision of success. In order to get my creative vision flourishing, speaking with others and gaining different types of resources is important.

Success for me is also self-awareness. Self-awareness is my main tool for healing. The more I know me, the more I’m able to gain control and feel how I want to feel.

Goal/Affirmation: I am who my own purpose and I will work toward becoming successful in the ways that fit me.

Bulletin: It’s Okay to Ask For Help

There is no shame in asking for help when needed.

While we often believe we can accomplish everything on our own, help is often necessary to get where we want to go. Whether we get help for personal or professional reasons, the help will allow us the resources and knowledge to push past our obstacles!

Asking for help is one of the most fundamental ways to get ahead, but due to the type of help sometimes it’s difficult to reach out and get the assistance we need.

Here are some helpful tips to consider when asking for help:

  • Research the help you need based on what you think is best for you.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask questions!
  • Receiving the right help for you can take multiple attempts.
  • Keep trying even if you don’t get the help you need at first.
  • Not everyone you ask for help will help you. Do not get discouraged.
  • Help can be given in different ways. Be open-minded.
  • Just because someone can’t help you doesn’t mean they can’t be a resource, ask if they know anyone who can.
  • Extract information from all avenues of support.
  • Remember that you are brave for asking for help.
  • Know your worth!

#Writeitdown Declarations to Live by and Internalize: Persevere

Be persistent even when you try and your results aren’t what you were thinking will happen.

Keep trying and modify your tactics if necessary. Know that you can get your desired results. Also, be open to opportunites as they come. Open your mind to different avenues of success.

I will be who I want to be even if I can’t see it happening right now.

Twitter Vibes: Stopping at a Step doesn’t Break the Staircase Down

People stop at minor setbacks, freeze at tiresome moments, and quit under stressful conditions. At times they may forget that that one moment isn’t the end.

Don’t allow minor challenges to determine your overall outlook on life. You’ve gotten past past moments because you’ve worked and succeeded. This current challenge may feel more difficult but remember that your stairway of successful past and future moments still hold even if you feel stuck on one step.
