Even during the ebbs and flows of life, the painful moments, the lessons, the bad decisions, the storms, its okay to love yourself. Show yourself some compassion and grace today.

Even during the ebbs and flows of life, the painful moments, the lessons, the bad decisions, the storms, its okay to love yourself. Show yourself some compassion and grace today.

Practice this mantra with me:
I honor my body by taking breaks and prioritizing self care. I am gentle with myself and allow myself to feel and process what is happening around me. My needs are valid and I reflect on each moment as I see fit. I am beautiful and I accept every part of myself. I understand that I can’t control all that happens around me, but I can control my approach. I am the crafter and the creator. I love my body and I choose to put myself first.

Healing is not a destination or fixed goal to achieve. This does not mean continuing to struggle, however. Instead, healing is the adaptation to the evolutionary process of self-awareness and self-acceptance. Healing is the constant effort, practice, and process of integration, balance, and shifting of consciousness to self, influencing the elevation of knowing and being.
To heal means getting to know yourself, understanding the depths and necessity of care and love for yourself despite the challenges that may arise. Of course “bad” days will come, but this does not regress the healing process. Healing equips you with tools and resources to have readily available when needed.
Examples of methods, resources, tools, and steps of continuous healing include:

Healing is about the journey. Once embarking on that journey you realize it is not linear and often changes based on what you learn on the way. Focusing on the journey allows for a profound understanding of self as the sole purpose in existence. You yourself are your own purpose. You are important and nothing can change that fact. Healing is the constant conscious effort of actualizing yourself in not only what you do, but also who you are. You are divine energy living a human experience. Prioritize healing. Learn the lessons that need to be learned, connect to yourself, love yourself and everything about you. What are the best ways to take care of yourself? What do you want to improve? What are your shadow traits? What are experience do you need to process? Are you feeling your feelings? Are you expressing yourself? All that makes you who you are is important in this journey of conscious and continous healing.
Healing yourself also heals the world.
What does healing mean to you?

Have the conversations that need to be had with the people you love. Create solid and supportive relationships with the people you care most about. It’s time to speak up. Needs don’t make you needy. Triggers don’t make you weak. Vulnerability doesn’t make you any less of a person. Build the healthy bonds you deserve.

Title
Beauty and Horizons
Description
“Beauty and Horizons” is a creative and fun event focused on reflecting on ourselves, our beauty and who we see ourselves to be. Starting with an ice breaker, we will sketch an image and write about one accomplishment that we are most proud of. The main activity will then be to imagine and draw a sunset on the beach. Around the sunset we will list 10 reasons why we are beautiful. Lastly, we will close by sharing our works of art.
Materials
Paper, writing utensils (pen, pencil, markers, or crayons).
Hope to see you there!

Visit my Etsy shop MotivateBySWT and check out my new mood trackers!
Each Mood Tracker is two parts with an added list of moods to aid in reflection and brainstorming. Part one of this mood tracker will prompt you to identify what mood you are feeling every day during the month. Once you’ve identified your mood you will fill in each apple, Candy piece, puzzel piece, raindrop, or balloon with the color that identifies the different moods you are feeling. Part two, then, is a three question reflection activity that will allow you to think through your experience.
Print these mood tracker in color or printer friendly version to help with perspective building, insight, self-awareness, and self-reflection!

What do you need right now?
I will take energy with affirmation: I allow myself to rest and take breaks as I need.

You know what you need to do to get where you need to go. Step into your power as you tune into your awareness. Believe in your ability to make good decisions. It’s okay to make mistakes, mistakes are staircases to knowledge and understanding. Learn and listen. Pay attention. You got it. There’s no need to doubt yourself.
Use these affirmations:
1. I am in control.
2. I know who I am.
3. I am enough.
4. I create my reality.
5. I am abundance.
6. I trust myself.
7. I make good decisions.
8. I have good ideas.
9. I am successful.

This season has presented many changes in my life, and with those changes a rebirth in understanding what self-care, self-worth, abundance, attraction and expectation mean to me. I learned that sometimes we need to walk away from people, places, and things that we care about and love. This doesn’t mean we no longer care and love these people, places, and things, but it does mean that until we are able to love, cherish, and value ourselves, there is a lack in what we can offer.
When we give from a place of lack, we deplete ourselves of the limited energy we posses because we are constantly giving to others. We are filling voids instead of nourishing and aiding through our passions and gifts.
Once we step away to feed and nourish ourselves and to see the immersearable value that is us, we can share the unconditional love we have for ourselves but with others. We no longer cling to unrealistic expectations that we will find what we are looking for outside of ourselves, but realize what we are looking for is us, it’s alignment and balance within who we are. We identify triggers, put our needs first, ask for support when needed, undo generational trauma and have those hard conversations. What do I need? Where do I fit in this conversation? What am I learning?
We no longer run when we feel uncomfortable but sit in that discomfort to ask ourselves the right question: what is this teaching me? Lack of a lesson is also a lesson, a lesson of letting go and moving forward regardless of understanding. Understanding that we move forward for the simple fact that we deserve better then the situation or circumstance.
Believe that you can experience abundance and peace because it is accessible, you have it already. Say it out loud: I am abundance, peace is within me. It’s okay to feel pain, sadness, grief, and worry, but know that you don’t have to dwell in these emotions. Free yourself from the expectations that what you need is somewhere anywhere else then inside of you already.
Feel the freedom of letting go and learn what it means to unconditionally love yourself. Manifest and affirm that with aligning yourself with love that love with then attract itself to you.
Manifest: I am love.I am ready for love. I receive love.

Reflection
As a recovering perfectionist, I’m learning to overcome four obstacles: the importance of breaks and self-care, my worth and productivity, asking for help, and trying new things. As I move toward establishing a healthy version of myself, I’m slowly becoming aware of my needs and better ways to incorporate those needs when I take on projects or goals.
Affirmation: I don’t have to do things perfectly. My best is good enough.
Activity
Can you relate to being a perfectionist? How do you feel about being a perfectionist?
What affirmations can you practice to help when you find yourself wanting to achieve perfection?
What are some habits you can change or shift if you believe yourself to have unhelpful perfectionist tendencies?
