Write an encouraging message in the comments below for someone who might be struggling.
I’ll go first! My therapist told me this week that emotions don’t have to be “bad” or “good,” just appropriate for what you’re experiencing. It’s okay to feel your feeling. Your feelings are valid ✨.

The more I move forward this year, the more I realize the impact my experiences, reflection, and perspective continue to have on shaping my perception of what’s happening around me.
Something major I learned just 2 days ago was despite wanting something so bad in the past, at that moment in time, I would have not been ready to receive what I have right now back then. It took so much work on my part, to be able to shift into the perspespective that is ready and capable to navigate my current experiences in a way that benefits me.
Just as much as I realize how I’ve changed to attract the abundance I have now, also reflects the process of receiving what I want now. I still have more growing to do and that’s okay. I’m patient with myself as I take one step at a time toward receiving my desires.
Affirmation: I am in alignment with my highest timeline and attract the love and abundance I deserve.

Activity/Reflection Prompt:
What would you tell your teenage self about love?
My Reflection
I remember when I was a teenager I struggled a lot with my self-esteem and self-worth. I later realized because of this my perception of love was impacted; I struggled so much especially with self-love. I remember always wanting to be in a relationship and being in the “fairy tale” type of love story. I thought that I would only be satisfied with the idea of love if I was in a romantic relationship with my “soulmate.” Valentines day hit me hard every year because, to me, it was a reminder of my failures in love.
It took me up until now, as an adult, to slowly learn to love myself fully and unconditionally. I would tell my teenage self that love is all around me — from how I speak to myself, to the ones I surround myself with; from my creativity to my advocacy work; from how I interact with others to being in nature and expressing gratitude for what I have. Love is everywhere, I just have to open myself up to feel it.
Warm and Friendly Reminder: Love is vast and can show up in many different ways including in friendships, family (biological or otherwise), romanic relationships, in work/hobbies, in nature, and in self-love. Love is never too far away.
Affirmations you can practice for self-love:
“I am worthy of acceptance and love.”
“I love myself.”
“Love is all around me.”
What about you? What would you tell your teenage self about love?

Sometimes we have dormant goals and desires that we put off although the thought of achieving that goal or desire resurfaces ever so often. We find ourselves procrastinating and overthinking, perhaps because of subconscious fears, doubts or other responsibilities. Know however, that’s it’s okay to take small steps to reaching where you want to go.
Here are some reflection questions when finding yourself overthinking or procrastinating on a specific goal:
How do I feel about my goal or desire? How important is it to me?
Do I have enough information or resources to reach my desired outcome?
What would be the first step in achieving my goal? Is there anything holding me back from that first step?
If I were to take the first step into achieving my goal, would I be ready to continue putting in effort?
How can I balance or change my daily schedule to incorporate time and energy into my goal or desire?
What would be possible challenges in pursuing my goal or desire?
Who can I ask for support in achieving my goal?
It’s okay to do what’s best for you when making big decisions for yourself. Take one moment at a time, one step at a time and know it’s okay to be proud of yourself every step of the way.
What is one person, place, thing, or idea that helps you when you are struggling and need support or a distraction?
Note: Feel free to share more than one if you would like.
My Reflection
When I am struggling, it helps for me to watch my favorite anime or create art with my cricut machine! I also love to write on my blog and create quotes that are the opposite of what I am feeling.

I overcome every challenge I’m faced with and learn the lessons necessary to help me move forward. I am proud of myself for doing my best every step of the way. Even on the toughest days, I’m stronger than I think. I am ready to continue forward doing what’s best for me.
What is something you want to work on this year? What are some agreements you want to make with yourself?
My Reflection
For me, I agree to be gentle with myself and take one moment at a time. I choose peace and prioritize my health; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I want to work on feeling good about positive things happening to me and believing I deserve them when they happen. I believe in greatness for myself. I’ve worked so hard to make it this far.

The words that are themes for me this year, in 2022, are “intuition” and “boundaries.
As I actualize myself this year in confidence and freedom, I will listen and pay attention to my needs, wants, desires and intuition. I step forward with better understanding of my thoughts, behaviors, habits and growth. I continuously attract what is for my highest good and take opportunities that are best for me.
I am kind to myself as I navigate through tough emotions like frustration, shame, guilt and anger and I do so with grace and compassion for myself.
I grow in awareness of how to create safe and comfortable spaces for myself and do so regularly.
I am worthy of love and balance. I create the reality I deserve.
I welcome peace every morning. I am ready for each day.
Your Turn!
Set a new year intention:
What word or words are your themes for 2022?
What affirmation, mantra, or agreement can you create and practice to help you to remember and stick to your intention?
I heal my nervous system and open myself to love. To love myself and to be loved by others. I am worthy of love, a healthy love, a fun love, a powerful love, a balanced love.
I am safe within myself. I trust myself. I am what I need. I love my body. My body loves me. I accept myself fully.
I am free to create. Free to prioritize myself. Free to understand who I am. I am free to feel my feeling. Free to my own perspective. Free to learn. Free to make mistakes. Free to move forward.
I feel peace. I am at home in my peace. I am at home within myself. I grow more powerful every day.
