I am a Woman

Being a woman doesn’t make her weak or fragile and it doesn’t make her incapable of any task.

Being a woman makes her capable of whatever her body, mind, and soul allows.

Being a woman is strength. Womanhood is a warrior.

Her body is a castle, a temple, and a mansion. It has a strong foundation and can hold a strong firm family, business, or perspective in its walls.

She is also an individual with power racing through her veins.

She is a Woman who can make decisions and hold an intellectual conversation.

She is a Woman whose burdens may appear too heavy but whose shoulders grow stronger with a sound mind and kind heart.

She is a Woman who will keep going even when odds are in every direction.

She is a Woman whos beauty has transformed her into a masterpiece with her efforts alone.

She is a Woman without any validation. She is a Woman without any apologies.

She is a Woman and she will create peace in herself.

She has power to do what she likes when she likes and how she likes.

She does not owe anyone an explanation. Her words are powerful by themselves.

She is a Woman.

I am a Woman.

#Writeitdown Declarations to Live by and Internalize: Peace and Positivity

I will be positive and kind to myself.

I will lift myself up.

I will be my biggest fan.

I will learn from my mistakes.

I will be better.

How I see myself, how I speak to myself, how I progress will be positive.

I will be stronger.

I will be powerful.

I will stay calm.

I will become more and more of myself.

Bulletin Board November 2017: Strength and Power

You give yourself your strength and you give yourself your power. Your power and strength is based on your ability to know yourself in every level, aspect, and perspective. As you grow yourself, you grow your strength and the more powerful you will become. Strength does not come in complacency so work on yourself daily, grow in your own shoes. Become yourself. The more of you that you become, the more power you will then see.

An Intro: Confessions of my Anxiety and Depression

This video was a requirement for a job opportunity I didn’t get, so I will be sharing it here.  This is my attempt at talking about what I go through.  It’s a bit vague and short, but liberating.  It’s easier for me to write about what I go through than talk about it.  Sometimes I can’t find the words to speak, but I can write them down.  Sometimes I can create a quote or a poem, but I can’t blatantly talk about the struggles I go through.  This is the first of many videos I hope to make in the future.  The video quality isn’t great and it’s a bit choppy, but this is new for me.  Hope you enjoy.

This is me being open and honest about my depression and anxiety.  This is me not pushing my struggles under the rug or declaring what I have isn’t real.  This is me facing my monsters.  This is me putting myself out in the open.  This is me healing.

Bulletin Board August 2017: Moving Forward, Progression, and Transformation

Moving forward comes with transformation and letting go. Don’t feel guilty for being better and doing better. Take steps in progression.

In the process of transformation and moving forward:

  • There are times where you will be uncomfortable.
  • You will come face to face with your biggest battle/struggle/obstacle
  • There will be pain
  • You will be hurt
  • Sometimes you will doubt yourself/something you thought you believed
  • Your perception will change
  • You will become liberated mentally/spiritually/emotionally
  • Freedom will look differently
  • You will understand more the challenges of others as well as your own
  • You will ask questions
  • You will be different

While you move forward and transform, there will be times where anxiety will strike you.  You will notice that you see the world differently. Don’t be afraid of this realization. In that moment you have broke free from the chains of complacency.
