In the journey of higher consciousness is the transformation and heightened awareness of the self. The ego death is the process of moving past the self’s initial definion — in the context of trauma, duality, and bias, not reverting back to trauma of trigger responses, black and white thinking, or surviving. Instead, this “death” is a surrendering of sorts to a new way of thinking and practiced awareness to rewire and create a reality that is reflective of abundance and wholeness.
The ego, in its creation, thrived on the limited perspective and perceptions of the child, an infantile thinking. As growing older permits, a new birth of understanding pushes it’s way through in order to pave the way for change in the process of enlightenment.
To become enlightened, to awaken, or to elevate means to make space in your consciousness, space not allowed previously due to ego expectations and standards. This new space will allow for intuitive thinking, unconditional love of self, and integration of shadow.
As the process of ego death is painful, as it means letting go of conditioning, it is the process of alchamizing the infantile mind to one of radical self-acceptance and self-awareness. This process allows for seeing and knowing who the self really is in its power and abilities.
The self no longer needs the validation or acceptance of anything outside of itself. Everything needed lies inward.
Affirmation: Everything that I need, I already have. My reality is created by me.
I met peace today. I didn’t expect it to feel this way. An all encompassing power of surrender. A knowing. A feeling. Being. A state of awareness, of falling like a bird knowing the safety of freedom from the wings that will save me.
Trusting self. Knowing self. One with consciousness. No more asking questions of “who am I?” but only “I am”. Basking in a green vibrant meadow filled with an ocean of flowers. A kiss from passing wind. Sitting. One with my energy. Flowing. Existing. Awakening. Comfort and confidence in self. Moments gratitude.
Witnessing one of nature’s wonders. A waterfall of crystal clear bliss. A mountain of stern certainty. Mimicking the wonders of the moon and sun. Peace. Surrendering to right now. Present. Just as it suggest, a gift of divine intervention.
A greeting. A congradulations. A integration of self. Unconditional love of self. Integrating trauma, self-awareness and transformation. Alchemy. An equal give and take. Balance. Understanding pain.
The student. The teacher. Connection. Compassion. Love. Oneness with love. Love of self is love of others. Freedom and liberation. Silence of the mind. Being the crafter. Being the creator. Stroking the pen as I see fit to write my story.
Peace. It’s me. I am peace. Peace is inside of me.
Divine timing teaches us that the version of ourselves that we are now is not yet aligned with the potential, power, and magnitude of what we’ve been asking for and know is ours. At this time we must work on ourselves. Work on our growth, our doubt, our shadow, and our thoughts. It’s time to walk in abundance, gratitude, and clarity understanding that what we manifest we will receive. Claim what is ours with confidence.
That career that you want is yours, that relationship that you deserve with the person you love is yours, that house, that car, that wealth, that peace of mind, that healing, that health, that relief is yours! Listen to yourself, you know what is yours. You know what you need. Start doing the work. You can be the version of yourself that receives what you’re manifesting. Are you ready for it? Start to progress toward what is yours.
What quote, affirmation, or mantra helps you to keep going?
Note: Feel free to share as many as you would like!
My favorite mantra is one that I created comparing myself to a butterfly!
It goes like this: Like a butterfly, I allow myself to transform – transform more into who I am every day. I will learn through the challenges and never give up. I acknowledge that transformation takes time and patience. I am ready. -SparklyWarTanks

Title: I Am The Crafter. I Am The Creator. An Evening of Vision Boards.
Description: “I Am The Crafter. I Am The Creator. An Evening of Vision Boards” is a creative and fun event focused on reflecting on ourselves, our growth, and who we see ourselves to be. Starting with an ice breaker, we will sketch one image and one positive word that describes us, our passions, or a goal that we have. The main activity will then be to draw a vision board that illustrates and represents who we are. There is endless possibilities in creating our vision boards from favorite quotes, affirmations, and mantras, to symbols, goal descriptions, and self-care plans; it’s all up to the us, the crafters! Lastly, we will close by sharing our works of art.
Materials: Paper, writing utensils (pen, pencil, markers, or crayons).
In the process of growth we may come to a standstill in whether we want or are able to face the trauma inside of ourselves. We become afraid of feeling the feelings that are repressed. In those moments we ask ourselves, what do I do with this pain? Unprocessed pain manifests as disease, disorders, attachments, triggers, habits, negativity and other blockages that show us a lack or need in the energy within us. So what, in turn, do we do with the pain in our bodies? We must release it. We are not meant to suffer and hold on to pain for long periods of time. If we survived the process of enduring this pain we are also able to alchemize it. Standing in our power allows us to transform and create something new in the process of releasing the pain that we may be holding. We are the creators of our own realities.
Alchemize your pain and transform into the indestructable being you are. Stand in your power. Allow the pain to be transformed in your favor. Learn the lesson and release the blockage. The lesson turns into an increase in awareness. You have all the abilities to do so. Pain does not define you and does not have to define or dictate your life.
It’s okay to ask for support. It’s okay if you need some help. It’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay to seek guidance. It’s okay to reach out and ask for what you need. It’s okay to advocate for yourself.
Take your power back from fear, doubt, and hesitancy. Claim your freedom to walk in your power unapologetically. Grow more into yourself. Speak. Know the strength in your words. What is for you is already yours.
