SWT 100 Notes Note 31: Bravery to be Ambious

As time progresses and I’m learning to live better, taking care of my mental health and growing in my self-acceptance, I declare, confirm, and affirm that I will not allow anything to set me back. Although it’s been rough and I’ve been tired, I will continuously push myself to my potential. I’m able to be the advocate, writer, leader, influencer, and speaker I want to be.

Don’t allow anything or anyone to steal your motivation or stunt your ambitions to make the difference you know you can make. Push yourself to be better, to know better, and show others what progress looks like. Be the light for someone else.

Let’s do this!

#Writeitdown Declarations to Live by and Internalize: I will Tell my Story

Your life is your story, and your story gives birth to your purpose (or I should say you realizing your purpose). Who you are and what you are is what gives you life and what will make you feel joy. Find yourself as you navigate your story, find power, and know your greatness. Be open and vulnerable, but only when you’re ready. Be ready for all the opportunities that will open up once you venture into the realm of self-acceptance.

Declarations to Live by and Internalize: Cry

There is no shame in crying in order to heal and recover. Give yourself time and space to reflect and to grow in your pain. Don’t be ashamed of your pain.

Let your pain out. Let it dissolve in the freshness of something new. Become better.

Let yourself become a product of a freed pain. Help someone else free their pain.

SWT 100 Notes: Note 11

Note 11 is a bit lengthy but I feel its something that needs to be expressed and talked about. In the wake of current race wars, clashes of political views, and being on the brink of total chaos, brings up the issue of being uncomfortable with living and coexisting with people who are different in environments that are culturally diverse. Its time to realize that there is no need to hate or fear those who are different. Sit and learn from those who challenge or contradict your way of living. Although it will be uncomfortable, moments of clarity when opening up perspective only benefits you in the long run. Transformation and knowledge only comes when placed in circumstances that challenge your point of view. Hate is dangerous, infectious, and unnecessary. We all can learn from the experiences of one another and that learning process never ends. Just because there hasn’t been any studies or documentation of a persons experiences based on popular opinion doesn’t means its invalid or untrue. Sit and listen. There is so much we can learn from one another. There are things that happen that some don’t know about and things that need to be said that aren’t being talked about. There is always space to dialogue about the things that are going on respectfully without undermining or demeaning the lives of the people who are underrepresented (especially).

Look.

Listen.

Think.

Respond.

Respect.
