What is your favorite activity to do outdoors? Perhaps you like to ski in the winter, go to the beach when it’s warm out, or even take a walk in the rain in the middle of spring. What activity do you love to participate in the most?
For me it’s taking a long walk in a park on a breezy spring afternoon 🌳🏞️.
What about you?

Write an encouraging note to yourself for the week ahead.
It’s the start of a new week Pencil Case family! Let’s start off the week with encouraging notes to ourselves 🌱🌟. Feel free to make your note an affirmation, reminder, song lyric, quote, funny saying, letter, or pep talk!
Here is my note:
You are worthy of good things, love, and happy moments. Continue to do your best! Don’t forget to meditate and drink water this week 👀🚰🧘♂. I love you.
Bonus: Write your note on a piece of paper or somewhere where you can see it as a daily reminder this week!

What three words describe your goals for this week?
Do you have goals you want to prioritize this week? Maybe get something done ✅, do less of something ➖, or perhaps make some changes to your schedule 🗓️? How would you describe those goals using three words?
I’ll go first! My three words are rest, time management and self-compassion 🌟.

If you’re like me and have a mental health diagnosis, I want to remind you that you are a strong, resilient and powerful warrior. No matter the obstacles you’re presented with, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to. You are worthy and capable of a successful and fulfilling life. You got this!
Sending love and hugs to whoever may be struggling right now 🦋.
Write an encouraging message to your younger self.
If you could go back in time, what messages would you tell your younger self? What advice, reminders or positive words about mental health, self-care and self-love do you think would be helpful for your younger self to hear?
Here is my message to my younger self:
Dear Little Me,
I love you just the way you are. You are enough. You are not too much or too different. You are beautiful and worthy of so much love. You are healing. You are growing, it’s okay to make mistakes. You are smart and creative. I’m so proud of you.
Love, Bigger Me

Do you have a hobby or skill you do really well and makes you feel good? What about a habit that you do well because it’s what you’re used to but want to change?
Note: If you want to change a habit, what is something you want to do instead and think will align more with your needs and goals?
Friendly Reminder: It’s okay if you do something well but also realize that there’s room to grow and improve.
I’ll go first! I’m really good at writing and creating worksheets and community building activities.
I’m also good at getting my personal projects done but find myself procrastinating and leaving them for the last minute. I’m working on balancing my schedule to include my personal projects along with my daily work.

Pick Your Joy
“Pick Your Joy” is a creative and fun event focused on reflecting and expressing what joy looks and feels like to us. Starting with an ice breaker, we will sketch an image and write about one fun fact about ourselves. The main activity will then be to pick one of two activities. The first activity will be to draw what it’s like for you to experience joy and the second activity will be to write a poem about an exciting moment in your life. Lastly, we will close by sharing our works of art.
Materials: Paper and writing utensils (pen, pencil, crayons, markers, etc)
I connect with the inner workings of my mind. I connect with myself. Who am I? What am I doing here? I sit and I ponder as I press the keys on my keyboard. Words flow from my mind to the ends of my fingertips. I’m free to express my thoughts, the energy of my consciousness. I create because I am the creator. I set the tone to what is happening to me. I am because I exist. I exist because I am. I am one with myself. I’ve come to know peace.
